Colombian-American engineer in Boulder, CO. I work on body-worn sensing where the measurements have to hold up in real use, not only on the bench.
I lead test strategy and data analysis for body worn alcohol monitoring at Alcohol Monitoring Systems Inc. (SCRAM). Earlier work spans quantitative MRI, wearable devices, and experimental validation.

Every Monday night I help organize a language exchange with a team in Boulder, where we welcome over 40 people each week to share conversations in over 10 languages. It's really fun and a great way to practice foreign languages and make friends.
I have been playing music since I was 10 and enjoy playing the guitar and keyboard. I played in a band in Boulder for about three years in grad school.
I enjoy living a healthy lifestyle, staying active, enjoying nature, and traveling.
